Character of Pollyanna Whittier in Eleanor H. Porter’s novel entitled “Pollyanna”

“Pollyanna” is one of the best novel which is written by Eleanor H. Porter. She is one of the best American female authors. The novel tells about an orphan girl who lives with her Aunt who has stern and distinct attitude. As long as she lives with her aunt, Pollyanna gets many problems but it can make her desperate. Pollyanna always has a positive perspective in facing problems. It is very interesting to know more about Pollyanna’s character deeply. Now, I am trying to tell you about character of Pollyanna Whittier in Eleanor H. Porter’s novel entitled “Pollyanna”.

Pollyanna Whittier, 11^th years old which has a light hair, freckle skin, loves to wear gingham dress, and always braids her hair. She is from far away western town. Her father’s name is John Whittier, a reverend in her hometown. Her mother’s name is Jennie; she is a kind housewife. She doesn’t have brother or sister. She grows up in church environment. She loves to talk with older people which are praying in church which is her father is placed as a reverend. In  11^th years old, she becomes an orphan. Pollyanna’s parent was passed away because ill.

After, her parent was passed away. Pollyanna lives in Bedingsville, Vermount with her aunt, “Miss Polly Harrington”. Miss Polly is the only one family that is had by Pollyanna. Pollyanna is very easy to diffuse with other people, even with an adult. She always cares about people around her. She is an easy-going and funny child. She is talkative, cheerful and of course as a child, she is so innocent. In Bedingsville, Pollyanna has many friends but all of them are adult. She is very close with Nancy and Mr. John Pendleton. Nancy is a tired woman who works in her aunt’s house, besides Mr. John Pendleton is the mysterious man who was very rich entire the town.

The interesting thing of Pollyanna that is Pollyanna has an optimistic spirit. Her father was influenced Pollyanna much. When we see Pollyanna’s background, Pollyanna’s mother was passed away when she was a baby. Pollyanna’s father takes care of Pollyanna by himself. Their have to struggle with their life. Her father as a reverend in small country only gets a low salary. Her father’s salary is not enough to full fill their need. Her father taught Pollyanna “The Glad Game”, the rules is in every problem we have to see the positive aspect, so that we can happy and go on with our live. And now she spread her optimistic spirit through her game which is called “The Glad Game”. She teaches everyone around her, that they have to see the positive aspect when their have problems. The optimistic spirit of Pollyanna can make Mrs. Snow who has paralysis feel confidence and happy to face people, she makes Mr. Pendleton who has broken leg still enthusiastic with his life.

We can see the truly optimistic spirit of Pollyanna when she got an accident. Pollyanna’s leg broke. Her aunt was very worried about her niece and she was looking for a great doctor to heal Pollyanna’s leg. But wherever and whenever Pollyanna is, she is a girl who always cheerful, full of spirit and optimistic. She is always happy, grateful and optimistic with her condition. Pollyanna always tries to find another way to make herself happy, whenever and however the troubles come, she always tries to finds positive aspects which make her happy and thankful for the troubles.

This novel teaches us to always have positive mindset about everything. I’m sure, the readers will enjoy this book because the reader will get a new perspective of life and they can learn from Pollyanna, an optimistic child.

Just confused

From the word “hope”, its like an air, really important for breathe to life forever.

I only want to bury this hurt, deep in my soul, erase from my mind, and heal this

I still want to make you for me only, it isnt good, i know i do the worst things that you don’t want me to do that.

So, what kind of lover you are. I just wanna tell that understanding is the basic. Please find in the entire your body, what understanding is mean.
You should know, it should be from your soul, deep in heart and mind, and all of that things are beautiful make a peaceful, just because i see, hear and feel you close. And i can understand, i love you

I just want to share that now I’m happy. He will come friday. I have many plans. Food and picture, both of them are my favorites. So hope it’ll be fun( ‾⌣‾ )

how should i behave when i know that there is nothing, i have to hold now. i dont know how you act. hmm actually mabye im so sad, its no matter if we are far away but it will be a problems when you act, im so far from you and now you can go everywhere without you think that im alone now.

its so complex, i dont know to make this problems clear.  in my thought, i just wanna be the best. i think im perfect but i know how perfect i am, it can not be a guarentee that love can stuck with you and stay forever.

love makes me so confused, love like what that you wanna feel?

why i should say im felt so alone, i dont know. its terrible when i know im alone now. i find the happiness by myself. there are many happines with you but there are many many sadness too.

i just can understand why now im so desprate. just fu*k with the distance, but lets see you, baby, only you,  why im so weak now, it because of you too, and same as me you will be feel the same feeling too.

reflection of something

i feel so messy this morning, many things i should decide fastly. it can change my life. it can be more better or worse!

i always think, is it right we just have 2 choices in our life? or everything our choice, it will direct us to one way which God has prepared for us before. i dont know,

someone says, your choice will determine what you should get in life, so be careful to make a decision. i think if God says, she is a successful person so whatever her decision she will be success. maybe sometimes she gets in a bad condition but God will direct her to a good condition. the condition, its of course work hard and prayer.
